About This Class:

This class meets Mondays 6:30-8:30p from Sept 8th - Sept 29th (4weeks).

For adults who enjoyed art as a kid and have often thought about going back to it but don't know where to start.

Week one will be the basic elements of art and design: line, shape, color, value, texture, space with one or two (time permitting) simple projects to warm up to art again.

Week two will be beginner drawing using the grid method

Week three will be drawing using observation and incorporating value and texture

Week four will be a fun and simple mixed media art piece using painting, collage, stamping, and pastels."
